The Governor's
House
Where Texas history becomes your story.
Est. 1892
A lovingly restored 1890s stone house
on Historic Main Street.
The Governor's House was built in 1892 and has served as a private residence, a boarding house, and now an eight-room boutique inn. Every original stone wall, longleaf pine floor, and antique fixture has been preserved — or carefully replicated — to honor the building's 130-year story.
